Tsunamis in Singapore

Like many other pacific nations Singapore experiences tsunamis.  Most of the time a Tsunami is caused by an earthquake or an earthquake tremor.  Singapore can get larger tsunamis more often because they are located on the Pacific ring where many plates meet and crash together which causes volcanoes to form and can also cause earthquakes.  When a tsunami hits Singapore is sometimes evacuated because the floods can get very bad.  Tsunami's are an issue but Singapore is almost completely immune to them, the waves need to get very large for Singapore to be affected badly.

I think that tsunamis are an issue but after reading this article I feel that the people of Singapore are used to having tsunamis.  It is almost like how Minnesotan's are used to having snow storms in the winter.  Also, it seems like Singapore has the tsunamis under control and are very protected from them.
