4 Youths Admit to Attacking Off-Duty Cop

Last December, a birthday celebration at a restaurant involving 7 youths resulted in the assault of a customer. He shouted that he was a police officer, but it didn't deter them. Only when someone yelled "police" did they flee. Sergeant Muhd Alfian Roslan sustained bruises and a chipped tooth. Sentencing of those involved is set for June 24, 2011. 3 alleged accomplices are yet to be dealt with. The row began in the early hours of the morning at the Al Jilani restaurant, when one of the partygoers' girlfriend began vomiting. When Muhd Alfian, 24, suggested that she be taken away, Godfrey Howe Ze Wi, 20, began attacking, soon joined by the rest of the group. All of the attackers are on bail for $10,000.

This is a very unfortunate event that shows the recklessness that may result from alcohol and being careless. A happy occasion was marred by their lack of self control. Stories of this type are seen often in America.
